How to Prepare for Your Tan
For the ultimate VersaSpa Pro spray tan experience, follow these steps:

  1. Hydrate & Exfoliate:
    •     During colder months, keep your skin hydrated by using a rich moisturizer daily.
    • Gently exfoliate for several days leading up to your appointment to ensure smooth skin.

  2. Shave & Wax:
    •     Shave and exfoliate at least 24 hours before your session.
    • Schedule waxing at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.

  3. Skip Lotions & Fragrances:

    • On the day of your tan, avoid applying lotions, perfumes, or deodorants.

  4. Manicure & Pedicure First:

    • Any nail care should be done before your tanning appointment to prevent disruptions to your tan.

  5. Dress for Success:

    • Wear loose-fitting clothing like a maxi dress, T-shirt with pajama bottoms, or similar options.

    • Avoid tight-fitting items such as bras, yoga pants, jeans, or closed-toe shoes.

During Your Tan
Our VersaSpa Pro booth makes spray tanning effortless and customizable. Here’s what to keep in mind:

  • Clothing Options:

    • Ladies may tan nude or wear undergarments/bathing suits.

    • Gentlemen must wear underwear or use a disposable undergarment provided by Tan Republic.

  • Customize Your Lines:

    • If you wear any clothing, place it exactly where you’d like your tan lines to appear.

After Your Tan
Protect and extend your glow with these essential tips:

  1. Drying Process:

    • If you feel wet after your session, let us know immediately.

    • You may feel slightly tacky; this should subside within an hour. Keep your body cool to help the drying process.

  2. Avoid These for 8-12 Hours:

    • Perspiration, lotions (especially fragranced or containing mineral oil), perfume, and workouts.

  3. Gentle Washing:

    • For the first two days, use only a warm water rinse (shampooing is fine).

    • Afterward, switch to a sulfate-free body wash to prolong your tan.

  4. Clothing Care:

    • Avoid wearing a bra for at least two hours post-tan.

    • Sleep in long sleeves and pajama bottoms if leaving the solution on overnight.

  5. Daily Maintenance:

    • Moisturize at least once a day with tan-extending products from Tan Republic.

    • Limit shaving and avoid exfoliating for at least a week.

  6. Fading Tips:

    • Hands and face may fade faster due to frequent washing.

    • Feet may lighten quickly from shoe friction.

  7. Stain Removal:

    • If the solution transfers to clothing or linens, wash with cold water and detergent.
